Me and Nm

well while I was waiting for my MBA entrance results and the probable colleges I will be getting calls from...I tried to search a lot regarding the culture of the institutes, the day to day happenings...

some blogs were relevant but really outdated...

so I decided then that when I get into a college I will definitely write about that stuff...
Dont no who may want to read it!!!!

So here it goes about NM...

I am in my third trim now...so I guess I have some authority to write about my college...
I joined late...so there were a few initial hiccups but not I have settled...

so I can say...
NM is really cool... :P

I really like going to college, classes, sessions....

My friends who know me from engineering just cannot believe the transformation I have gone through...

Maybe all the MBA colleges are this interesting so I wont compare but just write about NM....

Classes from 9 to 2...yeah thats it...
but that doesnt mean we are off the hook...
lots of cases to read, extra stuff to work on if somebody is willing...
and when the exams near...then even 24 hours seem less in a day...

All the submissions, extra classes, exam preparations knock at your door like some unwanted guest...

But thats a part of the education life...and all of this is forgotten once the exams for one trimester are over...and history repeats itself in the next trim... :)

but to be specific and state facts...

the approach is case based so its all the more interesting...blabbering, gassing about useless stuff even when u havent read nething...its total blast...when there are marks for class participation :P

The case based methodology was introduced with our batch and basically most of the curriculum has been adopted from IIMA as our dean is an alumni from IIMA...

about hostels...

I read before joining that hostels are pathetic....not suitable for human life...but that not the case...though I do not stay in the hostel but that is because I find it way too expensive...8500 per month!!!!!!!!

living in a hostel has its positives and negatives but that depends on the individual...what he is looking for....

One of the most important points I will like to bring about is about the Faculty...extremely and I mean extremely helpful...all are very helpful and sweet...

about the placements...wrong time to graduate in 2009 I would say...its just the market...nobody is to be blamed or can be of any help in such times...

so I wont go into this part in detail...

I no this post sounds really boring and nerdy but its jst fr ppl out there who want to no wat NM offers on the academic front....

as far as extra curriculars go...

there is no dearth of stuff you want to get involved in...

there are several student communities...covering all major streams...
they conduct regular competitions and there are other college events as well...such as Paragana, Euphoria,etc...

So all in all...a great place to be...

I would close this post by saying that
I am worried my MBA is going thru so fast.... :-s

PS: Finance is a real Pain in the ***

Introduction....

who am I?
why am I doing this?

My name is...can a name represent me...who or what am I...does it have any bearing on the kinda person I was, I am or will become...Quoting Mr.Shakespeare "What's in a name"!!!!

Well the second question....I dont even no myself...at this point of my life I have a million things I need to take care of, think of, decide upon...
But I am typing some shit I wont even like to read after 5 mins...

But as it is with me...just have to try something new...
lets see how long do I keep with this vagary of mine...

Thanks to the Internet...we can have a peek into the lives of people who want to share it with the world...

I dont really no If I want to do that...but when I read some blogs...not to while my time away...but to look for some information...I found them pretty useful...

I wont be writing very informative stuff...or may be I will... naa just kidding I cant even If I wanted to...I am just incapable of that :P

so one things for sure...

this is going to be fun...
